URASAL KAL (Friction Stone) :
Urasal kal is used traditionally in Tamil medicine to rub certain herbs like jathikaai (Nutmeg), maasikaai (Bluejack), vasambu (calamus) and the extract is given to the goodness of babies. Sandalwood and manjal kilangu can be rubbed on the stone to apply on the skin.
